I stepped behind the bar for the first time in 2015, and ever since then, I’ve known what I wanted to do with my life. What started as a job after high school turned into years of learning, creating, training, opening stores, pulling espresso shots, and making a whole lot of drinks. This isn't LinkedIn. This is Barista Life.
Fresh out of high school, passionate about coffee, and ready to learn everything. I eventually helped train employees, assisted with inventory and ordering, managed cash deposits and helped keep shifts running smoothly.
THE ORIGIN STORY
A deeper dive into the operational side of a coffee shop. Working independently sharpened my management and time-management skills, while an extensive espresso menu gave me room to get creative behind the bar.
THE ESPRESSO ERA
I was hired to open and oversee a licensed Starbucks inside the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott in Titusville. New hotel. New coffee bar. New chapter — and a pretty unforgettable part of the journey.
